WWD announced that the singer and makeup mogul has reportedly signed on a deal with TechStyle Fashion Group for her own lingerie line. While the site couldn’t confirm an official release date, sources have said that the project has been in the works for more than a year now and that samples have already been made.
The company’s deal with Rihanna is just one out of many projects made with celebrities under their belt. Kate Hudson is the co-founder of their youngest and fastest growing brand, Fabletics. Kim Kardashian co-founded their brand Shoedazzle in 2009. Model Kimora Lee Simmons was once president at JustFab before moving on to focus on her own KLS line.
With FentyxPuma, Fenty Beauty, and now a lingerie line in the works, it looks like Rihanna’s slowly turning us into her, something we should all be thankful for.
