The Metropolitan Museum of Art’s annual gala took place Monday. With the exhibition theme of the year being “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination”fashion’s biggest figures were asked to come out in their “Sunday Best.”
Naturally Nicki Minaj made her appearance.
Ms. King Kong came and conquered the red carpet dressed as the Devil in Oscar de la Renta. Jaws weren’t the only thing the singer dropped, however. While explaining the meaning behind her outfit of the evening, Minaj casually mentioned the title and release date of her upcoming album.
“I’m the bad guy and I wanted to make sure that b*tches knew that the bad guy was here–album dropping June 15th. It’s called Queen.”
Two songs from the album follow up to 2014’s Pinkprint –Chun-Li and Barbie Tingz–were already released early last month as well as two music videos last week.
